Trust me.... you, everyone riding/driving next to you, and walking down the street will hear it. I wouldn't worry its gonna happen. Just worry about getting the bike set up properly so you can keep it going.
Turbo bikes feel the same up to 5-6k rpm but after that they have WAAAYYYY more power. Its hard to describe you just have to ride one to understand. I don't think I will ever have a non turbo bike again.
You must have been pulled over by an OU fan after he saw the Texas plates. No but in all seriousness Ive never had a problem with the sheriffs department or OKCPD. Its the OHP that you have to watch out for.
It would give you exactly the opposite effect you are looking for....just listen to what the other members are telling you. They will not stear you wrong.
Where are you located? Someone here surely knows of a good tuner in your area and like GPW said your running a big risk. Trust me its better to do it right the first time and you would really be surprised at just how far off a "base map" can be! Been there done that.
If you ever decide to turbo the bike spend some extra money and do it right the fist time. However that is a whole new can of worms. I will say this though...Yesterday I had a 14 roll up on me and then shoot off at WOT. I downshifted into second and by this time he was atleast 150ft feet ahead...
