It doesn't fluctuate while at a steady cruise but obviously if you let off the gas it's going to show a lean AFR so when you get back on the gas and it passes through the AFR you set I hope it would not set off the alarm. I would hope it has some algorithm to prevent that or is it more set up...
No the tune is fine, but If I were to set up the failsafe on say 12.5 you are always going to see that as you are on and off the throttle while riding. I just don't want to see it at WOT thus it would shut things down before becoming critical. Does that sound reasonable?
That way it wouldn't shut down unless you were at wot as the AFRs go all over the place when you are just riding. I would only want to shut down when I'm at wot where you could melt down the motor if you go too lean.
Boosted, do you hook up any of the fail safe portions to keep the engine from hurting itself or you just use the AFR and boost portion of the gauge on street ridden bikes?
Anyone use one of these? I have read a few reports of poor quality and most of all not being as accurate as they claim and the customer service not being so good.
I did a search but couldn't find the answer. I thought I remember reading that Rob from Boosted Cycle said it can be done I just want to be sure before trying to do the swap.
I bought the bike from Trainer Dave from this org and was under the assumption it was an RCC kit. Frank was the last one that did some work on the bike but now I find out that it appears the header is a Velocity. Frank installed a RCC Ultra Plenum and tuned it and fixed some things that weren't...
Mine are rubber right now but I haven't started making any changes yet until I take down to Florida with me in a couple of weeks where I can start working on it, I haven't even ridden the bike yet!
