Cash in hand does not necessarily complete the sale, or shift any liability. It's easy to speculate what we would or would not do if things ended up badly, but it's best (my opinion) to avoid the unknown and transfer ownership before a crash could occur, especially on a high performance bike...

I tour exclusively on my Hayabusa. I'm on my second set of Michelin Pilot Road 2's. I got an easy 12000 miles on the first set. Between this bike and my last bike, I've done 4 sets of PR2's. I'll keep buying them until they stop making them... at which point I'll switch to PR3's or PR4's.

Whenever I see "Women and Hayabusas", this image of Leslie pops into my head...

The thing about a roll of caps is... did you have the self control to just bang them off one at a time, or were you tempted to drop a rock on the entire roll to get the most bang possible?

I'd like to hear audio of this post in the proper Indian accent :) Seriously though, the heart wants what the heart wants. The Hayabusa is absolutely not the best choice for anything that I do on mine. There are many other options that make way more sense. However... I didn't want any of those...

I believe that the point being made here is that people who are helpful and cooperative are very unlikely to be shot... or tased... or knocked with a baton.

I felt the same way, for the most part. I have to really justify a purchase. On paper, the Hayabusa might not be any better than what you had. It might actually look worse on paper. It's like a lot of other things in life... Do you just want a guitar, or do you want a USA Fender Stratocaster...
