Hey there........I installed the Knight Design pegs in July 2018. Update- One of the best comfort mods I did on my baby.
Now that winter is upon us, I want to adjust the right side rear brake foot lever to a different angle (I need to lower it) for my foot. I've never messed with rear brake...
Another huge issue I noticed with the 2 3-8" pegs that it's position was entirely too low where the brake pedal and the shifter knob lever would have to be readjusted if the pegs fit correctly. Also my boots would be directly next to the mid pipe and Iam sure my heels of my boots would of been...
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Knight Design Gen 1 set. I initially bought the 2 3/8" set but after trying to install them the pegs kept touching the exhaust mid pipes. I then sanded down the area of the peg that was touching the mid pipe and got the right side to fit fine but...
Great review and pics. They look great and with a 2 3/8" lower then stock pegs hopefully they provide your knee relief.
There on my Busa to do list.
Thanks

David,
With your direction it was something simple. I did check the throttle body linkage and could see the original stopping point had a 1/4 gap with the cables and hand throttle in the idling position all the way forward. So that was the issue. I have to readjust the cables so there not...
Correction -installed new front brake line not lever.
Also when I start bike each time for two seconds I have the manual choke off and confirmed this by watching the position at other end of choke cable on engine.
Iam at a loss on what else to check. Still thinking it would be throttle...
Hello there fellow riders. On my 5th Busa. Just got a 2001 from a local dealer. No history but one owner and near perfect condition with 23,000 miles. Bought it to setup as sport touring as with past ones. Had it for one month and several great riding days in IL. early this year. Bike was...
