I have negotiated with the parts department at the place where i bought my busa. They are going to sell me the PCIIIr for $308.00 plus tax. This is far less than anywhere else I have found.
I explained that I bought a motorcycle in February, three helmets at nearly $300 each, and exhaust...
Just installed new RS3 Racing baffle today. Awesome sound! My wife just shook her head as I fired it up for the first time and looked her way and smiled from ear to ear.
I have only hit the 186 limit twice. I actually found that it stops me at about 180, and not 186. I would really like to make the 200MPH speed at least once, if for nothing more than to know that it will, and that I can/have before. I have also ran it on a dyno and showed 157HP and top speed of...
Understood. I think you are missing my question... Since the PCIIIr allows you to adjust timing in all gears, wouldnt that do the same thing as a TRE? The PCII and PCIII only allow for Fuel adjustments, but the PCIIIr allows for Timing adjustments as well.
I know with the PCII and PCIII you would still need the TRE, but since the PCIIIr version is made to adjust the timing, wouldnt that be doing the same thing as a TRE then? If not, what would a person gain by going with the PCIIIr version for almost $150.00 more than the PCIII?
Probably a stupid question...
Since the PCIIIr version interfaces with ingnition timing also, does that eliminate the need for a TRE to reach top speed potential? Just curious, as I have no experience with Power Commanders. Thanks...
I heard that Suk and Kaw are calling off production of the Hyper Bike class and going to focus on the liter bikes now. If correct that would be the end of the Busa and the ZX12. Anyone else hearing this type of stuff?
I am about to order some Yosh Bolt Ons. Who has them, and what do you think about them?
Sound, Quality, Performance and such....
I am going to get the Stainless ones.
The cheapest price I found is $478.00 delivered. Sound reasonable? Thanks.
That gross pic that mikeshardware posted is not from a dude not wearing a helmet, but putting an explosive in his mouth and lighting it. It is an old pic that has been out for a while, I am not certain that it isnt photoshoped either, but it is definately not from a motorcycle accident.
I get between 30 - 40 MPG depending on driving conditions and distances. I have had mine for a couple of months and now have 1300 miles on her. I agree with BigBS, milage isn't as important as care and maintenance on these big bore motors. They should last thousands of miles if taken care of and...
Cool, that would be great to get a bunch of Heartland riders together in the KC area. I just provided my email for your contacts for future rides, I am more likely to check my email. Hey BigBSBusa, is it like freakin windy in Leavenworth today? Wind is gusting over 40MPH here. I think I will be...
BigBSBusa, I live in El Dorado. Just outside of Wichita. That would be cool to ride in your neck of the woods sometime. I have a brother living in Overland Park so I could justify the trip to KC for a couple of reasons. My email is brianpo@cox.net
