    Master links

Has anyone used the screw type master links currently available for sale through Schnitz Racing? If someone has any experience regarding this product I am listening. The master link is advertised to be used with a EK530 ZVX chain which with 10560 tensile strength is okay for our bikes. Thanx Tcat

    Yoshimura Exhaust

I am interested in installing a Yosh Tri Oval system in my 02 Busa. What are the common problems associated with this modification? I enjoy the power of the bike as is but would like to add a little character to the exhaust note. Do I need a Power Commander for this mod ? Will the fairing bolt...

    Replacing Grips

It's time to replace the factory grips and I have purchased a set of gel grips. The maker of the grips sent Super Glue to be used to adhere the grips to the bars. I know people use hairspray as well as other adhesives but I have never heard of Super Glue for the grips. It would seem to me that...

    Battery ?

I have a o2 Black/Blue Busa that is probably going to need a battery replacement. The battery is fine, it holds a charge and spins motor easily. This Busa has never had a kickback problem from the starter motor but I have been told if you attempt to start it with a weak battery or if the...

    Heat Shielding Material...

GJoker I'm sure the heat rating will surpass your needs. My EGT's on my Thundercat have seen 1600 degrees.(I know aluminum melts @1320) and my plastics are fine. The pipe temps do spike much quicker than cylinder temps making short high temp bursts possible with a 2 stroke. I do not know what...

    Heat Shielding Material...

GJoker- I have used with great success the one sticky sided heat shield tape used by the constuction industry. The tape is used to shield cabinets and other flammable items around stoves. It is available at Home Depot for cheap money. It ha s protected the platic bellypan and hood of my...

    Chain And Sprockets

I realize this is and old topic but this is my first chain and sprocket maintenence on the Busa. I am going to leave the size of the sprockets stock, I do not beat it to death but I do occasionally light up the rear and give it a thrashing. The stock set up has served well for many miles but I'm...

    Front Tire Removal ?

Am I to assume I need a 24mm wrench to remove my front tire ? This is my first Suzuki and I have never encountered this situation before. 19mm wrenches are readily available but I've yet to find a 24mm. Is there another way to remove the tire ? Thank You in advance for your help.

    Calling All Sled Heads

There are plenty of chat rooms. I go to Arctic Forums and have learned some valuable tips there. I ride a 2000 Thundercat pushing 228H.P. As much fun as the Busa is to ride nothing compares to the power of a well set up sled. I spend all my time in your country, mostly Quebec Province. Its nice...

    Desperate for parts

Could anyone point me in the right direction? I need the outer chaincase cover(11361-24F-10) and the gear shift gasket(11485-24-F00) for a 2001 BUSA. The parts are on backorder and Suzuki has been less than helpful with an anticipated ship date. I tried Ronayers and Bike Bandit to no avail. Does...
