Rubb Checking In To See How Everyone Is Doing

I've not been on the site in probably 10 years, sold my last 'bus in 06. Rubb, last time I was here you had a custom painted electric/sky blue 'bus, and some one had tried to kill you in a rear ended. Good to be back. Shopping for another bike as we speak.

Hello again, checking in, need car opinions...

Hello All....haven't posted in forever, been busa-less for a few years now. I always got good feedback from you folks, so here goes: Looking for a used car in the 5-6 K range. Leaning towards 2000ish Jettas, Audi A4 and A6s, or Jeep grand Cherokees. Good, bad or indifferent from anyone...

Another Officer - On His Worst Behavior

But should he be terminated? Even if he were not Black? This questions adds weight to my argument that the word has become so prevalent in Black society that it no longer merits such outrage when used. Either be grossly offended by the word at all times, or use it commonly without...

Another Officer - On His Worst Behavior

I'm having a harder and harder time feeling outrage when someone uses the 'N' word...the black community seems to pick and choose when to find it's use offensive. I find it offensive 100% percent of the time. And I'm white as the driven snow. I agree with the above...if that cop had been...

How many of you are going to Deep Fry the Turkey?

Fried the first one 7 years ago...never looked back. The best thing besides the great flavor and moistness, is the fact that it is so quick. 3-3.5 minutes per pound and your done, verses 3-5 hours in the oven or on the grill.

    Lawsuit Reality Check?

Was enjoying an intelligent debate, then you had to pull out the "I'm superior to the Website hoard" card. You ain't all that, from what I can tell.

    Lawsuit Reality Check?

I have never disputed that the ball comes off a non-wood bat faster...my dispute is that the use of the bat was in some way out of the norm. Again...no one uses wooden bats in a league that allows the use of metal/composite bats... My argument is against the lawsuit's premise...that the bat...

    Lawsuit Reality Check?

Your argument above supports the reason I disagree with the suit...the bat in question was legal for play as decided by the league. It was not abnormal, nor did it exceed any set performance parameters set by the league. I would bet that there was not a wooden bat anywhere on the field that...

    Lawsuit Reality Check?

BS Again....Aluminum bats have been the norm in Youth Baseball for over 30 years. In fact, the typical aluminum bat used in 95% of Little League play retails for under 50 dollars. If we went back to wood bats, the durability issue would actually drive the typical league costs UP due to breakage...

    Lawsuit Reality Check?

Another fact lost in the emotion is this: The BPF of 1.15 is designed to keep the rebound performance of the metal or composite bat close to the rebound performance of wood. The bigger issue is the fact that aluminum or composite bats at this level can be made substantially lighter...your...

    Lawsuit Reality Check?

Wrong....you take responsibility when you allow your child to participate in the program. The program has in effect rules that govern which bats, balls, gloves, and protective gear are deemed acceptable for play at the level of play your child is choosing to participate in. If you deem the bats...
