    The Coach has Gone GREEN

Hey Coach, congrats on the 14. I jumped ship myself a short while ago and as far as the power goes, you need to pull the secondary flies to get the linear power that we are used to. Trust me once the flies are out the 14 becomes much more predictable, safer and is a whole different animal. As...

Sport Tour Screen Puig or ZG?

Well, the big brother computer I'm on doesn't let those pics come through.  Oh well the price of freedom.  LOL  Sounds like the ZG may be pretty flimsy and with the sport tour shield being taller that doesn't sound like a good thing.  Maybe I should tell Charles to make it a puig?!!!!!!  Just...

Sport Tour Screen Puig or ZG?

UPDATE: Bought the Puig ST screen and absolutely HATE IT. If you thought gauges were hidden by the stock screen just imagine a screen with the same lines but 4 inches longer and a slight turn upward at the end. I now can not see anything but my odometer and I'm 6' 1" for reference. To see my...

    Conti force tires

Don't have the force but tried the sport attack on the busa for a long trip and found good stick and great mileage so far. Even put them on the 1K. Good street tire so far. Don't write off Continental based upon the Force cuz looks like they may have a winner with the Road and Sport Attack...

    ICON MilSpec Vest Information

Seems like every base (service) is different. We were advised a couple of weeks ago that the Navy instruction required a vest with reflective strips 1.5 inches wide. I asked them how they could enforce something that wasn't available at clothing sales. The only vest there is the cheapo mesh...

So my dealer leaves the office I have a folder

Hey Bentvalve. For what it's worth, I own both and obviously your friends don't travel much on the busa. They are totally different bikes. Both fun and both with a purpose. If you travel much or long distances you WILL miss the busa smoothness. If you're a twisty rider then you will NOT miss it...

    Hot weather jacket?

I've been experimenting with this lately and here is what I've found. The mesh jackets are okay until it gets real hot, like 95+ then they don't seem to do very much to keep cool. Took a Kilamanjaro and opened all the vents so the jacket could catch all the air and let it run out through the...

    M4 Exhaust?

Thanks Mountainmotor. Sounds like what I'm looking for.

    M4 Exhaust?

I'm more of a function kind of guy and thinking about putting on a 4:1 system just to free up the chain side of the bike. Not really concerned that much about performance improvement as the busa is great as she is. However, I was wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on the M4...

    Hayabusa Comfortable on Long Rides?

I just completed a trip to eastern NC from North Central Texas to visit my folks. About 1300 miles each way. First day stayed in Atlanta with friends. 845 miles in around 12 hours. Felt great and could have kept riding if not visiting friends. The busa is a great touring machine, but I've also...

Not going to trade my Busa for a K5 Gixxer.

IMO for one bike, you made the right decision. I have both and the new 1K is a specialized tool able to do some fun things very well. The busa is the best overall tool and does a lot of things well. You would have been disappointed had you traded one for the other.
