    Learned A Lesson This Year

I haven't personally used the cushion, but everyone I know dislikes the cushion. Just my .02. You are right, different strokes for different folks.

    Need Help Getting Started

Just have fun with it. Nice clutch is going to make you the most consistent for sure. I grew up in S IL, racing at I57. I have friends that still run there and Beacon actually.

Launching (whats Your Style And 60')

It just takes practice. You will get there for sure. I can tell you that 1.5's with a stock wheel base bike is doable, myself doing it as well. When I had my bike about 9 inch back and geared deep it would go 1.34 best, upper 1.3's all day. That was being 210/215lbs out of the shower and stock...

Post Your 1/4 Times And Mods.

Most people don't give away all their secrets. Just because people say "stock motor", don't think they always mean stock bike either. External mods, chassis etc make a big diff. For what you said is done to your bike and your weight, I would expect around 9 flat or close to it once you get the...

    R1 Wheel Swap Or?

I have the R1 wheels. I weighed everything including cush, wheels, rotors, all together it was just under 5lbs. I sold my busa wheels for what I paid for the R1 wheels, so I'll consider it a free mod and looks way better!

    60' Time

For a stock wheelbase bike and no tricks, stock gearing is pretty hard to beat. Like Dennis said, maybe a tooth or two on the rear would be ok. I think I saw a 1.59 a time or two at stock wheel base, mostly low 1.6's. Good luck!

Decisions... Any One Have Some Advice For Me

Well, like I said, I'm no engineer. Dennis your example makes the most sense from other people talking about how it affects the bike. Guess I'll go back to my hole now. lol

Decisions... Any One Have Some Advice For Me

I'm no engineer so I don't know. I just think that if you were to do the opposite and lets say move the wheel further out front, lets even be silly and say a foot out. That I could physically grab the front wheel and it would be easier for me to lift the front of the bike up. If I moved the...

Decisions... Any One Have Some Advice For Me

Off set clamps may not make a huge difference as you describe in that situation. The reason for them is class racing of course for one, but it does mover more weight closer to the front, therefore making the effort to keep that front tire from ever lifting as in your description. That is the way...

Decisions... Any One Have Some Advice For Me

Ah....I forgot about limited wheelbase too. How about offset clamps? Can shave about 4 lbs and get way more weight over the front? Just another thought.
