Thanks for all the opinions. I think I will just use this oil considering most, 90 percent, of my riding is in less than 86 degree heat. This is only due to the cooler climate up here in Minnesota. It is hot in the summer but I have plenty of time to change back to 10w40 in the late spring...
Hey, I just realized that I need to concentrate a little more when I go shopping because I bought oil for my 08 Hayabusa and I realized it was a different weight than my last oil change. I am using amsoil synthetic and I used stock weight 10W40 last time and this time I accidentally bought...
As the title says, has anyone seen in person, sat on, or owned one of the new Saddlemen sportbike seats? I see they make three models and come with a matching cover for the back seat for our bikes. I am curious to know how they are and mainly which one of the three that they sell would be the...
Wow I feel like an idiot now, sorry that is what came up when I put in 09 hayabusa and assumed it gave me pcv maps. Sorry for the confusion. We should just put up a page for maps here to keep them available for members but not sure if that is legal or ok with DynoJet.
Simple question for SmithaBusa. Am I crazy or did DynoJet change the PCV files to .djm when they used to be .pvm? I just looked at the Dynojet website tonight and decided to download all the maps and put them in a file for later, which I only stored two maps from before, and they don't load into...
Just a thought, but I have seen quite a few tank bags that offer a waterproof map pocket and a "waterproof cord opening" on the top of the bag. I know what you are thinking but most of the water in a rain storm goes over the tank because of the fairing and only would have to worry about water...
Got to pipe in, I have been riding the tires off my bike, not much time to be on here. Love the software, but now I want MORE POWER. The software gave me a noticeable bump in power, just made me want more. Someone needs to sell me a turbo kit real cheap, lol
Hey Toxsick, no harm man. Totally fine. Like I said I am open to criticism, as long as no one is calling me a complete idiot. Now I am glad to hear your bike is running spot on as we were all curious. I am thinking that the PCV map I have is the only reason mine is popping as I changed my map...
Well yes you are correct, I should have a dyno tune for my bike but I do think that the low level of change coming from my slip-ons and the fact that I am still running an o2 sensor has to help a little. I know it is the stock one and won't adjust enough but I am planning on adding more parts to...
Well first off I understand that most streetbikes live in this low throttle opening area. I would like to know what would make this area staying on stock settings bad with a full system? I know you would want to tune the bike but wouldn't this be more important at higher throttle openings on...
Sorry to jack this thread but I have to say I have been riding my bike for a while now, at least a week or so, with the converted PCV maps. It works great from what I can tell. Right away I noticed a bump in power. It is almost a little rich but I am going to try another map I have to try and...
Well I found the Vance and Hines to be the one to use. It works with thier slip on and it has factory and wideband bungs for o2 sensors, yes both. Think I might have to get this header. Any sponsors have this header for sale at a good price? The part number is: 73-107-15.
Here are a couple...
