Will Gen I and Gen II interchange?

I use a Gen II busa motor on my pulling tractor and I worry about breaking the chain and destroying the case. Does anyone make a Case Saver for the Gen II motors? I find them at Schnitz but for the Men II they're always "unavailable". I'd buy one of these without hesitation if I could just find...

Thanks! Good to know! My motor is above stock. How would I determine the kill time based on the amount of mods? Is there something like a HP to kill time ratio to use or something more scientific?
