    Gen II TB Sync Questions/Help

A few thoughts. First, at 5700 miles the throttle bodies probably don't need synched. Look where the blades close against the outer bodies themselves and see if there's carbon buildup. If so clean it out even if you plan to synch. Chances are that'll smooth things out a good bit. Second, and...

    The importance of family unity.

The house divided cannot stand. Unfortunately my house has been divided for quite some time and is about to collapse. Be thankful for what you have as nothing is permanent! I hope everyone has an exceptional holiday season and a great 2013!

Why are my plugs all different colours?

I'd still examine the MAP sensor or it's signal. Typical reason for across the board rich conditions.

Why are my plugs all different colours?

You've got one that looks right, three that are similar rich. Sounds nuts but first thing I'd check is the vacuum line that feeds the throttle body the lean plug came from. That will allow air to lean out that hole plus will throw off the MAP sensor which will drive the FI system rich.

    Geminid Meteor Shower Pic

Very cool shot! But to clarify, that's Orion getting bisected by the meteor. Similar shape though.

Carbon Build Up on Intake Valves

The cold water shocks the carbon and breaks it. Beneath the upper layer carbon is very hard and breaks like glass when subjected to a rapid temperature change. I'd run a good name brand fuel injection cleaner through the tank every few thousand miles. Just put the correct amount in one tank...

    American Chopper Build-Off

Between Busa's I had an 1125R. Let me tell you, it's a world class bike with handling and pretty good on the power. What hurt it was minor things, attention to detail items. The way HD handled parts is what got me off it when I had the chance. As for the buildoff, I love watching the fab...

What's the one thing you wish you knew, but don't?

How to effectively harness, control and manipulate the graviton (Particle of gravity) because once gravity can be harnessed the possibilities are endless. Imagine, a spaceship that's not only propelled but pulled an equal portion to achieve the desired acceleration factor.

How do you clean your AR?

I use a bore snake at the range, then when I get around to it I'll pull the breech assembly apart, clean the moving parts with solvent (Sorry, don't remember the exact brand.) then lube with Rem oil. A couple of times a year I'll dab a few drops of Rem oil on the moving parts of the lower...

Best way to survive a high speed wobble?

I got into serious barshake and a mild slapper (I recall the bars hitting the stops a few times.) when I completely boned a decreasing radius turn during a track day. Fortunately the event happened post apex so I tried the nail the gas method and it smoothed out. I'll admit I got lucky...
