Time for a Local Weather Thread Yet?

For those from the "we don't got no stinking humidity" states, overnight lows are very close to dewpoint- if any plan early rides check the road for moisture before you start scraping footpegs... : ) Had a reminder when I forgot that a few weeks ago, but didn't cost me any paint...

You could also take 23 south out of Eureka down to Hwy 16, head to Jasper through the urban sprawl of places like Red Star, Swain, and Deer AR... to the haunting refrain of a banjo from so far out in the boonies that hoot owls rape the chickens...

A bit longer run is Hwy. 62 to Berryville, then 21 south to 74, east to Jasper- some of the turns on 74 are so tight they will have you looking at your own tailpipe... I'm pissed though, the cafe on the square in Jasper took buffalo burgers off the menu... :( You can return the same...

    Routes, destinations, roads?

Yes it is, as long as some redneck hasn't dragged gravel out of a driveway all over a curve... :poke:

I kid you not, if you haven't ridden here before, most of the choice roads you have to pass one at a time and wait for the next guy to catch up to you- straight stretches are few and far between... this ain't Kansas...

Huckleberry... lol... Yeah, you can even blast off on your own if no one is around and not get lost... but let me warn you, I left out at 7 am last week one morning headed to Berryville on 62 and was reminded that cool roads DO hit dewpoint overnight and dampness is not your friend...

    Routes, destinations, roads?

Ahhh- I went +4 in the rear myself, know what you mean... After it went 202 mph on the dyno drags, I decided it could stand gearing down a little...

Same here! Saw you're trailering instead of iron-butting it this time, what is your track setup?

    Routes, destinations, roads?

Yep- what he said... my bad... 23 south out of ES, right on Hwy 12, and I take Hwy 127 which cuts a loop off of 12 and has much more twisty parts, then right on 12 to Rogers. You come out on 2nd street at a stop light, stop at Susie-Q's drive-in across the street for the best...

(shudder) Omg, I hope not- word of mouth is enough, I already get tired of passing Harley's on those roads... :poke:

    Routes, destinations, roads?

Jasper is a great ride, and the cafe on the square is a must-do for a lunch stop! :beerchug: I live in Rogers, about 20 minutes from Pointe West- there are two great loops that are contiguous to ES, each is 80-100 miles and almost nothing but twisties... From Pointe West, head to ES on...

2010 Eureka Springs, AR (Spring) Check Rm Reservations!

I've been a little preoccupied for about two years, what did I miss? : ) I will have to stop by, and probably Santosh- he saw the light and moved to the area a few months ago... Don't know if I missed the post, but what are the ride routes planned?
