    aftermarket fairings

    Allot of times most of the after market fairing have poor fitment issues but for what you want to do they should be OK. Just remember to put some of the Heat Tape on the fairings to avoid burning the plastics.

    problem with a scratched fairing bolt - how do I remove?

    Just give it a couple of raps with a hammer and it should loosen up. When you replace it I recommend not tightening it so much those bolts only need to tightened just a little and they will hold just fine.
