Hey Guys thanks for all the great input. Long story short, a buddy of mine told me to look around the starter clutch, I put everything back together and the noise was nearly gone, after 3 minutes it was gone completely. I have taken several rides since and all seems normal, engine sound and...

Engine is back together, nothing was found. I looked at everything I could under the valve cover, timing chain guides seem to be fine. I still have noise, sound seems to be from the timing chain. I am "assuming" improper tension from the factory tensioner. My next step will be to purchase...

Update: (New oil in and Plugs Out), Cam/Tappet Clearance is good and No noise is apparent upon turning the engine by hand or starter. Now I need to wait for my valve cover gaskets to arrive, then re-assemble and see what happens.

I drained the oil last night and let it flow over a magnet. I also inspected the magnet on the drain plug. No sign of contaminants. I also band sawed the oil filter apart, no debris found. Using a fiberoptic borescope I went through the spark plug holes and inspected the cylinders, I had...
