Winter took a toll on my battery. I put a new one in on Monday. I need to change the oil soon, and I'll be ready for another season! Hopefully this summer is not so smokey. I'm hoping to get to Spokane County Raceway this year to try for a 9 second time slip. One of my bucket list items. One of...
I've been pondering what new upgrades I think would make the Busa a better, or more advanced bike. Here are my thoughts fwiw....
There are a lot of things about the Busa that would keep it out of people's top 5, or top 3 lists. It isn't the most comfortable touring bike, it isn't the best...
I'm the same way. There's nothing wrong with my gen 1, but if they release a gen 3, and it is as amazing as everyone envisions, I'll have to find a way to get one!
Old thread resurrection! How long are the links to raise the rear 1"? I was thinking about checking on parts to make my own links, but I need to know how long they need to be. Shorter is higher, correct? I have three hole lowering links now, and would like to be stock to +1" for riding twisties...

Edit* Looks like for $2 more you can upgrade...
I don't know how good colorite is with their blue, but the silver I got for my 02 was WAY off! I emailed them a picture explaining and showing them how far off the color match was, and never heard back from them. Not impressed with their customer service, or products.
There are websites that you can look at the microfiche for your bike and order factory parts for cheaper than if you bought from a Suzuki dealership. Ronayers.com is one I have used and had good luck with. Get that shoulder checked out! I had a broken scapula from an accident once.
Those look comfy! I know it's off topic, but what brand are those mirrors? I'm thinking about ditching my bar end mirrors so I can get a throttlemeiser and yours are the style I'd like to try. :)
I'm 7 15/16 to the bottom of the top tube, and 8 5/16 to the bottom of the wiper seal. I'm guessing the 8 1/4 was to the bottom of the upper tube? Thank you for measuring! That means it's not too low then! I might have to get a pair of stock links.
