    Drilling Fuel Tank Lid Holes?

I bought an aftermarket fuel tank lid and as per my luck the holes don't line up when I went to bolt it in. The old cap is useless. I have a ride I need to go on tomorrow so I was thinking about drilling new holes around the neck since it doesnt appear to go into the actual tank. Does anyone...

    Sprocket Trouble

Live and learn I guess. The chain was not replaced with the sprocket as it should have been. After initial inspection it looked as though I could get a few more miles out of it as the chain is not really that old. looks like i will be reordering both now. Thanks for the insight!

    Sprocket Trouble

I purchased a new JT rear sprocket about 4 months ago and already the teeth are trashed. I do a fair amount of hard accelerating but not in the sense of constantly popping wheelies or drag racing (yet). I mean i bought it for the track just haven't made it there yet. I did some research and...

What to do to have a Busa that is powerful and fast?

There are number chasers. There are those that will never see the far side of the speedo. Then there are people like me, those who simply like to tinker. I know the busa is faster then most any pavement fairing beast, but to me that simply isn't good enough.

    Large guy, slow times

Thanks for all the advice. I went out this weekend and I was able to turn an 11.5 quarter with a .069 ET. I strapped the front end, launched at about 4k, and shifted without the clutch. Everything worked well. One of the things I am still having trouble with is getting my feet up to the peg...

    Large guy, slow times

Thanks for the info. As embarrassing as it was the best I could do first time out was 12 flat. The bike is stock for the most part. I have done the airbox mod, yoshi bolt ons k&n filter and had 114 octane, which I later read would do nothing with out a tune. Everything else was stock. I was...

    Large guy, slow times

So after a relatively embarrassing first ever attempt at drag racing a stock hayabusa, I am working on how to improve my times. I have searched and found great tips regarding lowering straps, launch techniques, etc. What I would like to know is how much difference rider weight makes. I weigh...

A quick run through the North Georgia mountians

Thanks to everyone for all the useful information on this site. Your tips and DIY information has saved me a bundle. Here is a quick clip from the GoPro through the N. Georgia mountains, on my way to Deals Gap. It doesn't look like much but it was a lot of fun.
