You may need to try some deox/desmut for anodizing alloys such as 2024. This should works on 1000 to 7000 series alloys. Different alloys need different mixes. Good luck with all.

I bought some at Auto Zone pack of 3, under two bucks. They are the same size but have larger ring around the middle. I keep them as back-ups and don't have to wait for the dealer to order them from overseas.
About two or three years ago an artical in Motorcycle Mag. about torque (busa) and 10K bikes. The torque of the Busa x 1st gear = over 900lbs of torque at the rear wheel and the 10K bikes 600-700lbs. All gears the Busa pulled harder on the dyno. Would like to see the same artical with the new 08's.

Thanks Sam46 but you have to type so we know what you know. Is that a new cam tensioner? Were did you get it, (from dealer or net). Or did you change the little spring? How do you adjust the tension on it?
