I totally Agree. I had a 2005 busa. Last year I had to sell her. This year I bought a like new 2008 ZX-14 at a great price!. All I can say is both bikes are phenomenal.

I am actually wanting to trade my 2005 for a 2009 and my heart bleeds thinking about taking the new 2009 on the mandatory gravel to/from work. Just the regular wear/tear breaks my heart!

Don't feel too bad. My 2005 is like new and has 2164 miles on it. Of course the Wyoming weather does not help! Actually I am thinking about getting a Gen 2 2009 but I do not know if I can justify it.
