Ill stick with my hog.

I use the ole retractable mirror on a stick thingy from Harbor Freight. Warm it up sit on it, retract the mirror and hold it down by the window. Works great, otherwise use the rear stand.

14 tooth up front you replaced? 17 is factory on a Gen1 so going from 14 to 17 you're gonna notice a major rpm diff at speed.

Kinda sounds like an exhaust leak?

Mines the 03, used the search on the site and found that with an exacto you can trim the rear fender and the Gen1 looks great.

My plan is to go back to stock gearing and the r1 tube, currently running 17/42. The sprocket change I definatley noticed off the botom but top end seems to be lacking a little torque now. Just my thought but I'm headed back to smoooooth all around.

I've been running the DDM kit for two years. When I first installed it I had the intermittent bulb firing issues that I fixed by hard wiring directly to the battery. The factory wiring just couldn't handle the start of the bike and the bulb firing at the same time. The warranty is kind of a...

Took me 20 years to get a bike back in the garage. It wasn't good therapy over that period of time to see other riders and space out wishing I hang a dang bike. Best "rebellious" thing I've done yet, I just freakn love it when I put my tunes on and hit the road!

I just did a front, rear sprocket change as well as a DID chain and used the Cycle Gear chain tool and it worked like a champ, no probs.

ID to pass? I wouldn't consider using a guarded roadway to pass and take someone's booty
