    Headset communicators

I use the Air Rider headset. Really good clarity in both the speakers and the mic. It has a battery booster built in for the mic which helps but you need to be careful where you place it on your mouth. Joe Zulaski

    Busa Frame problems

Has anyone been following the 'busa frame collapsing problems that Suzuki is experiencing? I haven't heard too much about it here, but it's been a pretty nasty problem in the UK, for example. One dealer just replaced an owner's bike w/a brand new Blackbird (Honda CBR1100XX) as a goodwill...

Saw a Copper Busa in Calgary Saturday...

I haven't noticed any clunks either. I do get the infamous "false neutrals" alot but it's mainly my shifting techniques that cause that. Snag: We're supposed to check in at Argyle's starting at 5:30pm on the 16th but I'll be there early. My alloted time to start the rally is 7:18pm. The...

Saw a Copper Busa in Calgary Saturday...

Snag, I'll be up at Argyle's on June 15th, 16th, and 18th riding in the Alberta 2000. But, I won't be on my Busa for that. I ride an ST1100 for my long distance rallies. I actually live in the Seattle, WA area but I'm putting on an LD rally that will have the first checkpoint at Anderwerks in...

Not sure how many were made. I'd be curious on a breakdown on all the colors. Z

Saw a Copper Busa in Calgary Saturday...

I was in Calgary, Alberta last Saturday visiting Dave Anderson of Anderwerks Motorad Spezialists and saw a Copper Busa heading North on Deerfoot Trail (highway 2). Anyone from the list here? Just curious. Joe Zulaski

    Cutting of the air box

Hey Motorhead, I appreciate this debate again as I didn't have time to perform the mod when you first brought up the details. Could you point me to a URL with details. I remember some of it but want to do this the way you recommend. Thanks in advance, Joe Zulaski

    Stealth License Plate Covers

Anyone know the status of the so-called "stealth" License Plate covers that turn opaque when power is applied? I heard that there was some problems but I've been waiting for mine for quite a while now. TIA, Joe Zulaski

    Hardbags should I

I have sent requests to Corbin and also spoke to them at Daytona about the Beetle Bags. I've gotten different answers depending upon who I talk to. In email, they said, "stay tuned, we're thinking about it" but at Daytona, the guy said there were no plans for making them for the Hayabusa. I...

DAMM!!!!!!!! I laid my Busa down!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Yes, I did pretty much the same thing in South Dakota somewhere last year. I was on my ST1100 late at night. Stopped at a stop sign and then pulled out to turn left. I didn't see the gravel in the intersection. The rear tire hit the patch of gravel and the...

    PORTLAND RIDERS?

mbuehler, I have yet to make a long trip on the Busa. But, I need to go up to Calgary, Alberta in a couple of weeks and was thinking about using the Busa to do that. However, if my ST1100 is out of the shop by then, I'll probably take it as I need to test out the new gadgets I've had added...

    PORTLAND RIDERS?

1300POWER and mbuehler, I'm in the Woodinville, WA area, just Northeast of Bellevue. I didn't know there were other Busa riders on the list from around here. I'm also an ex-Oregonian (from Tillamook originally). I'm up for a ride in Oregon. I just had to cancel a trip to Bandon last...
