Still riding mine, but not at all happy about it. As a first step I'm having a big session with the dealer about things and hope he will do likewise with Suzuki. If no problems, will they put it in writing? Sort of know what the answer to that would be though. We don't need to put up with this...

Is it possible to make stock cans louder by removing the 3 spot welded screws, cover, and drilling the silencer back-plate?

Maybe the easiest way is to ask Honda how they make their rotors for the CBRXX and just copy that. Or, there again.... maybe in 6 months time I won't have any rotors left to worry about anyway.

On my bike, only 5 weeks old, 600 miles, both front rotors, both sides, have corroded, caused by interaction of pads as they lay against the rotors, especially if pads get damp. (The bike hasn't seen rain yet, so must be through washing it.) Running a fingernail across the rotor surfaces reveals...

'Busa well above the zx12 on bhp right up to 9,500rpm - 9750rpm, then zx12 just rises above it by 3bhp - but quickly loses it. 'Busa torque curve murders the zx12 everywhere. Some say the zx12 is marginally easier on tight corners, but no match otherwise. Bye bye kwak, eat my tyre.

Used to have CBR1100XX Blackbird, just got new Hyabusa, riding Saturday (with pillion) just joining main road from car park, bike fell flat on its side, no warning signs, no wobble, just like on ice !! Roads slightly wet, was going really carefully, no sign of oil, tyres worn in. What went wrong...
