Lee, The interface module is an important part of the Screamer design and is one of the reasons why it works so good. One of my other customers tried your suggestion before he purchased the Screamer and did not get very good results... his experiment resulted in low volume and erratic operation...
Hapo, Your order will ship Monday AM. Based on your request and the request of others your Radar Screamer will have a new feature. The silence switch now has three positions; full volume, low volume and OFF. Let me know how this works out for you.

The kit presently includes 2 pieces of velcro for mounting the piezo beeper. It is not a very heavy device and the velcro should provide a secure hold. One place to mount the beeper is the top of the triple clamp for the best sound. Another choice to mount the beeper is by attaching it...

I'm on a mail list for a different bike (non-Suzuki) and it's the same thing over there. They claim that their bike has the worst side stand design because the bike rolls off the stand. Of course in every case the rider had left the bike in neutral.
