You should also check the fuel pump. At our dealer here,when we sell a bike that has been sitting for a long preirod of time, if it does not start 8 out of 10 times its gummed up fuel in the fuel pump. Spark plugs dont usually go bad by sitting, they go bad by bad mixture and leaky piston seals...

I was looking at the pics on ebay, from the fron and back the size seems the same, the push in pins seem at the right spot and the connector seems the same. If I could I would like to switch to the 08 gauges, has anyone tried it yet?

Guys, stock air filter is probably a lot better than many aftermarket filters out there. I had BMC on almost every bike I had and it made minor gains on the dyno ( I mean real minor) and KNN made no difference at all so I think KNN is waste of money. If you are going high mods with aftermarket...

probably not, performance air filters are over rated anyways, he would need a power commander ( need meaning to make the most out of it, not to run) if he goes air filter, and full exhaust system. Just air filter does not increase breathing enough for the ecu to not be able to compansate for it...

Sounds like thermostat or low fluid. Dont just check the coolant level, top it off at the radiator, belive me in the past i have seen instances where the reservoir was fin, but the raditor was half empty.

olive oil should do the trick, it may be a little thin though...

If you are going to take harley and busa and use their parts, why not to take busa's engine? Its like mixing F15 and a lawnmore and using lawnmore mechanical parts with F15's flaps.
