Question for Those Who Installed the Vortex Rearsets

I need a longer length of hose, I dropped the rearsets down a bit and need the hose to be longer, that's why I'm on this quest.

Question for Those Who Installed the Vortex Rearsets

Funny, I brought the hose to a local PowerSports dealership (Honda/Yamaha) and showed it to them, the best they could come up with is a piece of hose used in outboard motor applications and I have no idea of it's corrosion resistant, it was stiff and felt more like plastic than rubber. I'll...

Question for Those Who Installed the Vortex Rearsets

It's not much, it only shows a brake reservoir hose halfway on the master cylinder. If you want more pics, let me know what you want a picture of.

Question for Those Who Installed the Vortex Rearsets

I already have the tail off. I just need to get the reservoir hose on and I'm really struggling for a solution because the hose included from Vortex doesn't seem to be the correct inside diameter. I don't think these are V2, I just go them from Revzilla but they have no V2 indication. Yes...

Question for Those Who Installed the Vortex Rearsets

Okay, I'm not having much of a problem with the actaul rearsets, but Vortex includes a length of hose to use to run from the brake reservoir to the master cylinder after you decide where you want your right rearset positioned. I'm having a hell of a time getting that hose installed on the...

New To Forum Bought Brand New 2016

Don't listen to anyone telling you to remove your reflectors and rear mud fender (kidding; you can listen to them - its your call, really). You have a very nice bike, you have exactly the same paint job as mine. You will find that people of all ages will want to chat about your bike when you...

Will stock Busa wheelie off the throttle?

I love this thread, I'm glad you guys revived it. I also love the humor and even the bickering between "brothers" - it just means you guys are tight and share similar passions. Most bickering we all remember is likely between you and your siblings; am I right? I still have to find out that...

Parts Falling Off Brand New Bike

I know. It feels weird now. Luckily I think 13013 is wicked cool, he was great to me when I first got here, and ever since. I'll try to honor his request, but no promises. I tend to have a colorful vocabulary so I may let a "Jesus" slip here and there without thinking about it. If it...

Parts Falling Off Brand New Bike

That's funny. One of my bikes has a big-ass V-Twin mounted directly to the frame. No rubber mounts, nothing. I could use a little vibration dampening for that bike. I don't even get on that thing unless my bladder is totally empty.

Parts Falling Off Brand New Bike

Jesus. Frankly I didn't know what they were used for. My cruisers don't have them, so I really never knew what they were all about. Now that I think about it, my kid's CBR500R has them too. Are these bar end weights a sport bike thing? I'm embarrassed to mention how long I've been riding...

Parts Falling Off Brand New Bike

So I've had my Busa for about seven weeks and I recently noticed the left grip end is missing... like, gone. It just fell right off the bike. The screw holding that thing on must have been loose. I called the dealership and explained my issue with parts falling off a brand new bike and asked...

Uh, thanks TIMMYDUCK, but I wasn't looking for riding tips. I was sharing a story. And there's no need to be sorry, it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. This bike is by far the most fun I've had on two wheels. I expect a few speeding tickets here and there. The great thing about Wisconsin is the...
