Started tearing in down to run through it, fork seals, spark plugs, clutch slave brace, undertail, probb tires, just checking it all over before we ride it.
It was lowered, so I have to raise it back up, led lights all over, fork seals are leaking, it has a gsxr wheel on the back. Not sure if Iam going to just put a gsxr wheel on the front to match, or just stick some r1 wheels on it. Mostly it just needs to be gone through.
If a cam and or the head is no good, maybe a cam journal is ground up or a lobe is ground down? Where did the debris go that would be ground off of the cam or head? That stuff gets just about everywhere oil gets. There may be collateral damage.
The rear rotor is a smaller diameter on the Busa wheel. I believe SAE makes the correct one that fits the Yamaha wheel You may or may not need to use a spacer in between the rear wheel and inside of the swing arm. On my gen 1 I used a thin washer so that when I tightened the rear wheel it diddnt...
Just got my wheels in the mail today. Put the new sprocket on. I have to get the front rotor spacers and the rear rotor and iam ready to mount them up. Next pics should be with the new wheels all mounted up
