I read some threads that people were saying that the oil filter wouldn’t come out unless the oil cooler line was removed. I found that to NOT be the case for mine. The clearances seem close (just like the Gen 1), but it was no different.
The most difficult part of all this was removing the...
Just picked up a new 2018, and I was planning to change the oil last night. I noticed that the oil cooler line is right in front of the oil filter.
1) Has anyone been able to navigate around this? I haven‘t tried to pull the oil filter out yet but am curious.
2) Do I need a replacement...
I'm the exception, rebel, and irresponsible motorcyclist who, after riding a 1988 Honda Shadow VLX 600 for three years decided it was time for a sport bike and got the Busa.
No "stepping-up" to a bigger bike. 25k miles and no problems. The only alternative would be a newer one.

Lane splitting in Indiana will get someone killed. I don't know why they even have white dashed lines because people don't pay attention! Has there ever been a successful case of a state not allowing lane splitting, and then reversing this? I'd be nervous to be the guinea pig on two wheels.
It's been a while since I've posted an update, so I wanted to chime in. Last fall I went out and purchased a compression gauge kit. After testing my compression, I found the worst- my compression numbers were through the floor. I have done as much research as I can possibly do- reading...
I'm not completely sure that it's a fuel problem. I'm trying to systematically remove most obvious culprits to less obvious ones.
I'm not sure how to measure the fuel pressure; from what I've read, the compression numbers are going to be low since the motor is cold. They may be low, but...
