Talking from experience with this idea I did 06 1000 tail with sub frame and seatsnot hard mod two brackets bolted to cut sub frame and drilled two holes for bottom mounts a lot less expensive then Greg's custom kit another member on here did it and I copied front can be done but lower fairings...

what was your final outcome did you put it on or sell it

you inspired me but the price was way beyond my expense so i made my own 06-07 R1 projector lined up with stock adjusters and i just made a ABS trim so you cant see the bolts working on a second one now and mini dual projectors for my sons SRAD with Busa head light conversion

i have a 240 Shinko tire with custom vfr800 arm i couldnt spend the money for the marvex arm and i wanted the 240 with arm as close to stock length as possible but yours is nice no doubt if i could i would but im broke lol

here is my current custom setup with SRAD 600 swingarm grafted too vfr800 with 750 shock and lowered dog bones dont like the space between tire and tail needs more height

only thing i know that was different was the dog bones were the lowering ones. but now i have the SRAD 600 head on and the busa shock hits the arm have a couple of pivots im going to try i want to raise the rear back up a inch or so and put busa shock back on i will keep everyone informed lol

correction on headlight it is from 07 R1 not R6 i just order another headlight i might sell one with echange not 100% on selling ill post if i decide to sell one

here is the 01 1000 swingarm only put the arm on i didnt change anything else bolted up and is 2" shorter then stock wheelie machine

thanks for seat advice but my Busa seat is a Gel seat and i like the gsxr seat better didnt want the seat low higher seat feals sportier ill see if i can get a stock seat to try no welding on my frame lol subframe is different story still not finished no time working on my daily driver right now...

question how do I tell which shock pivot is which

I had 01 1000 arm with all Busa stuff and it was short, scary short my present setup is SRAD 600 with 750 shock and Busa elbow and BUSA dog bones but 750 shock is too soft so I have to switch up some parts

i always said that the 01 1000 tail would look good on hayabusa so i changed mine again thanks to yours valenti i had a 2000 750 with 1000 motor sold for Busa to get more comfertable ride with more power was thinking of doing front fairing conversion, but have to see how i like it when i lower...
