1999 Hayabusa dying at operating temp, then won't start until cooled.

I havent had any issues since installing the new pump and lines. The first 300 mile trip I clogged the filter with rust. That wasn’t exactly fun but that’s expected with a gas tank that’s been sitting for five years.. Any advice with a sticky fuel cap? It looks like its oxidized. I was think of...

Where did it leak? Why did it leak? Crimp clamps are rated higher than most everything else.

UPDATE: I ended up buying: Tanks Inc. Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulators AFPR1 Walbro High-Pressure Inline Fuel Pumps F30000271 Hose barb fitting for the pump and regulator. Installed it tonight took around 2 hours. I used crimp clamps on most everything on 3/8" fuel line. FRP set at 43psi...

I've spent $250 on this pump set up already. If i pulled the Assembly off i'm sure i could get at least that amount out of it. What are your thoughts on doing aftermarket pump and regulator? Tanks Inc. Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulators AFPR1 Walbro High-Pressure Inline Fuel Pumps F30000271...

I'm on board with that, i would love to have a functional cock. No puns intended. My line comes from the tank to a inline filter, then comes up the passenger side of the pump over and in. I did this to keep from using 90 elbows and avoid kinking.

The valves on the 99 doesn't have the tab on the cock to turn it off. Double checked the lines and they are not able to be kinked.

FPR screen is clean. I don't have a way to test pressure, however it runs great until it dies and wont restart. I did find a thread stating that the fuel pump needed to be purged of air via the FPR 10mm bolt. Im not sure the extra space from the missing filter would be enough to effect...

Hello, New to the forums, not new to motors! I have searched, everything I've read says i shouldn't be having issues at this point. I picked up a 99 Busa with 9,000 miles that had been sitting for 10 years or so, it required some TLC to get it going. Fuel tank had rusted due to old fuel and...
