    Crossing Golden Gate Bridge

That was a nice video. You must have had the camera on a short pole. I liked the way you moved it around to give different perspectives.

Nice. I was really hoping for that kind of weather.

    Crossing Golden Gate Bridge

Congrats to you! Nice thread and nice pics. I hope your next excursion happens. I'm contemplating making a loop around Lake Michigan. It will give me a chance to see some friends and cross the Mackinac bridge, stop by Lambeau Field, etc. We'll see what else comes to mind before this summer.

    Crossing Golden Gate Bridge

No I didn't. This trip was all about the ride and I didn't want to be on any timetables. It was a solo trip and a heck of a ride. Even though it has been awhile, I need to do a small write-up sometime.

    Crossing Golden Gate Bridge

I hung around an extra day to get a clearer view but it was not to be even in the afternoon.

    Crossing Golden Gate Bridge

I also rode across the San Rafael bridge north of San Fran and across the Bay bridge going to San Fran from the Oakland/Berkeley area. Gusting winds can make things a little more interesting especially since the plastics turn the bike into a sail from the side. My worst ride for wind was...

    Crossing Golden Gate Bridge

This past summer I made an 8,000 mile cross-USA trip on my 2008 Hayabusa. Thought I'd share a video of me crossing the Golden Gate. Not real exciting to watch but for those who haven't done it here is what it looks like. - Hayabusa Across the Golden Gate Bridge[/url]

    Shift Light?

Set to 10,500. Would be better if it was placed higher in the dash.

    Hayabusa in Sport Touring class????

I did an 8,000 mile trip around the US this past summer. The bike makes an excellent sport touring bike with bags added. But the best part is you're not stuck with a full time sport touring bike. I don't find full time sport touring bikes to be attractive and they of course make some...

    Repainting or Replacing fairing ?!?

If you buy the new fairing, remember to get the appropriate heat shields for the insides as well.

Help! Galfer front line install - Instructions don't make sense?

I had the same issue and called Galfer. The instructions are wrong and the picture is correct. Install it the way you have it the 4th pic. Don't know why they don't change the instructions.

    touring 'Busa/hard luggage Q?

I was pleasantly surprised how well it all came together with the bags and brackets. I think Haybusas look pretty good set up this way given it isn't made for touring really. Definitely nice to get all the stuff back off the bike and back into hump mode, though. Just to clarify, 25 lbs...

    touring 'Busa/hard luggage Q?

They are very secure. I made an 8,000 mile trip this summer with the SW-Motech brackets, 2 E360 side cases, and the E52 top case. I also wired in the Admore lighting to the side cases so I had turn signal, brake, and running lights on the side bags. I was on roads from smooth to rough and...
