So sorry for the late response but I wasn’t around bike but now I’m back. So back to this problem I have not had a chance to test not troubleshoot yet but will be doing here very soon. So as for replacing the sending unit or what “exactly” am I going to replace or better yet part number please.
I have an 06 and I know I have fuel and 70miles deep and low fuel light comes on and then turns off and I get code 92 I believe.how many miles should I get from one full tank? To my knowledge it’s a the sending unit, can someone point me in the right direction on how to test/troubleshoot and...
Update: bike running good so far. As for the fuel sending unit I took apart and and retightened and tried to run check but not sure I did it correctly. Went ahead reinstallled and filled tank and it says full.
Ok thank you. It did it again and fi light came on code 92 fuel level gauge signal. What are the ranges the ohm meter reads from empty to full if I’m asking this correctly. Not too good with multimeter
So today my fuel gauge on cluster was reading empty but I can move tank around and hear more then enough fuel in tank. The cluster low fuel light was on and the went dead empty and light turned off. Is there is test I could do to see if reading right. My new tank should be in tomorrow
Update: weather was decent so decided to take her out and test everything. It ran great no more overheating or cutting out. Got on freeway and ran like a champ other then I know I was doing at least 70+ and it was reading 45mph. I took out cleaned and put back in. I may need to order new speed...

First off thank you guys very much for responding to me, since I couldn’t figure out how to pull it off. I went ahead and put everything back together started up ran tonormal temperature,I noticed that the last time that I did it I didn’t fill up the reservoir or I did and it must have gone to...
Ok took 2 bolts off along with hoses and won’t come out. I have it loose but not sure what’s in front of it and not letting it come out.... so does it just go back in or does it have to align with something
Quick question I haven’t had the chance to get to bike yet... but can you remove water pump and can it possibly be stuck Or corroded, can you rebuild it
