I have used both Stomp Grip and Tech Spec on various bikes.
I found Stomp Grip very grippy but it does tear your leathers up over time. Tech Spec seems just as grippy but is much kinder to your leathers.
I ride 6 days a week, so Tech Spec for me.
I had run Pilot Road 2's and 3's for the last few years and had no complaints about them.
Due to no longer having to do big motorway miles to work and back every day I switched to a pair of Pilot Power 3's. The bike was transformed, I absolutely love them. So much more grip and feedback getting...
Which one is lowered?:laugh::laugh:
I'm usually not a great fan of stretched bikes, but I do like that. Very nice.
BTW how many inches over is that swingarm?
It is normal for the rear wheel to rotate a little. Started cold on a rear stand, mine will rotate a little until everything warms up. Once warm the rear wheel stops rotating.
The 'Busa is such a capable bike.
Slow city traffic..... Done
Everyday commuting......Easy
Weekend blasts......All you want
Warp speed......You got it
The bike is capable of more than most will ever ask of it.

Just start reading a "whats the best oil thread", puts me to sleep everytime.:laugh:

Brakes as OEM are a little lacking vs the bikes capabilities.
Note:
Most things people...
Not too tight though. Don't want to be setting that cruise control on tight left handers.:laugh:
Seriously though, there is no spec for fast idle cable freeplay. As with throttle cables (even when set to spec), check bars lock to lock after cable adjustment to make sure there is no...
Adjust idle with engine at normal running temp. Set at 1050 to 1250rpm.
Once idle is correct you can adjust fast idle. At operating temp the fast idle lever should raise the engine rpm to 3500.
Once set, the fast idle from a cold start should have the engine idling at 2000 to 2500rpm and should...
Yep, I've yet to meet anyone in person using Gilles that has had a problem or doesn't love 'em. I have no problem at all with someone relating a bad experience with a product and explaining the reason or circumstance, as it can help others avoid a poor product, but a generalised "stay away or...
Curious about your reasons.
I have had my Gilles on for almost a year now and love 'em. Never had an issue. I have mine quite high and rearward vs stock.
Interested in why you went back to stock.
