    Swingarm Bearings

Thanks fellas. Asked the coater about masking. He said he could but he didn't want to risk contaminating the air with grease and having it get on the arm which would screw up the coat. Gonna tackle the bearings myself. Don't see how some shops totally fk over those who could bring them more...

    Swingarm Bearings

I recently took an arm in to be powdercoated. My guy wanted the bearings removed so I went to a local bike shop. Was quoted $120 to remove the bearings and was told another $60 plus the cost of new bearings to put back in. That sounds a WHOLE LOT high to me. Anyone had this done. Can I just...

I'm late late late on this, but any issues with the tail hitting the tire? If not, what did you do to prevent?

    Chiped Key

Thanks guys. After calling the guy on his BS he told me that me misunderstood what I was asking. I took the blank to a Home Depot and Wal-Mart but was told that they don't have a casing that would hold the blank. I'll try Ace. Read a few threads where guys had theirs cut there.

    Chiped Key

Hey guys. I'm needing to get a spare key made. Dealer is wanting $120 because they're saying it's a chipped key and they need the actual switch. I already have the blank key (don't see a chip) I have the original key (don't see a chip). I have an '09. Are the keys really chipped? Where can...

    Oem Rear Seat Question

Used a socket and extension to tap mine out. Socket fit perfectly around the metal edge of the bushing.

    Swingarms And Sprockets

Thanks guys. I was told that the longer chain would make it feel as if I'm pulling off in 2nd gear so that was the need for a smaller sprocket up front. As far as the arm goes you're right. That's something your ass is literally riding on. No need to skimp on that.

    Swingarms And Sprockets

I'm looking to add 4 to 6 inches to my swingarm but got a few questions. I'm basically a cruiser, no racing, no knee dragging. I have a buddy who can ride i bike thru hell and not get burned. He recommended me just getting extensions because I'm not a hard rider but I've seen several posts...

    Shifter Position

Hey guys. I removed my foot pegs, shifter, brake pedal, etc. to be powder coated. I got everything back on and am having a problem with the bike getting in gear. Also noticed that the position of my foot feels different so I'm off a little in the positioning of the shifter onto the gear...

    4 Or 6

Thanks Bluu. Just getting back around to the thread. So going six required a new tail. That's good info to know.....either way it looks nice.

    Lowering Links

I'm about to lower my bike...Gen2. I'm looking between Yana Shiki links or a set made by Thompson Customs. The TC's allow for half inch increments but are wider. I'm wondering if the wider links would present any clearance issues with any parts underneath. Anyone using these links that can...

A little more than I wanted to spend and more than others that I've priced. I do understand that yours has the under bracing and bottle ring. Thanks for reaching out though.
