Headlight haze on the inside of the lens

No trackday or tape. This came about while I was on a road trip through Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California. Hottest temp it got to was about 112 degrees while in Vegas. Hot, but I wouldn't think melting hot thought. Hopefully at least get the fairing off this weekend...

Headlight haze on the inside of the lens

Whatever it is, it's dried on there already. No fresh droplents or anything like that. If it wipes off easily, I might be able to remove the bulb and reach something through the hole to wipe it off. If it's stuck on, then I might have to attempt taking the lens off so I can scrub it.

Headlight haze on the inside of the lens

I've had a HID unit installed for the last 5 or 6 years with no problems whatsoever. I took a week long trip earlier this month on the bike and somewhere during that time a strange haze appeared on the inside of my headlight lens. It looks somewhat similar to the headlight haze that sometimes...

    Messages to other riders.

Never seen them used as turnsignals. Usually for road hazzards. Potholes, dead animals, debris, or things like that. Some point with their hands, some point with their feet.

Puig DB installed. Was hoping for better.

Yeah, I know. I actually was never unhappy with the stock windscreen. I've done plenty of time behind it. Just thought I'd give a DB a try since I heard so many people rave about them. I can be perfectly happy going back to the stocker. Had 2 naked bikes before the Busa, so something...

Puig DB installed. Was hoping for better.

I'm only about 5'10". Maybe 5'11" on a good day. I guess I was just looking for to much. I just wasn't expecting to wind to be directed at my face as much as it is. Shoot, I was even hoping to add a set of 1" bar risers, but that would just stick my face in the windstree even more. I have...

Puig DB installed. Was hoping for better.

Well after about 45,000 miles of success with the stock windscreen I decided to break down and go with a double bubble, kinds to see if they were worth the hype. Heard good things about the Puig so I went with that. I love the looks and quality of the Puig. Definitely a good product. I've...

    Rack system

I made mine without the vertical loup. I just wanted a little extra space to strap down a roll pack or sleeping bag to. Haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it should work fine.

    Rack system

Click the "Manage Attachments" button Click the "Browse" button Select the pic from your computer Click the "Upload" button OR, just use photobucket to host the pick and post the link here. Would like to see your project. I just made a luggage rack for my Busa about a month ago or so.

looking for advice on cold weather gear!

^^ Like he said above, snowmobile gloves work pretty good. I was really suprised at how much warmer they were. They are a little bulky, but nothing terrible. Schampa Technical Wear: Headwear, Balaclavas, Facemasks, Thermals, Skull Wear, Cold Weather Gear Schampa has some good cold...

    Tank Bag question.

I have a what I consider a pretty big tank bag. I could maybe fit a laptop in it(depending on the PC size), but I don't know if it would fit flat on the bottom of the bag. It might fit in at an angle, but then it wouldn't leave a whole lot of room for some of that other stuff you need. I...

What tankbag is best for a "Busa"

If you go with the Cortech Tribag tankbag you will actually get two bags in one. I have the magnetic set up. The magnetic base has zippers where you can attach the larger bag or the smaller bag depending on your daily needs. The large bags works great for longer trips and the smaller bag...

    When adjusting the chain...

Well the mount that the brake caliper hands from has to slide forward and backward with the wheel when making adjustments. It can't easily do that when the torque link is bolted tight and trying to hold it in place. That's why you loosten the torque link. And to be a little more accurate, I...
