Race tech will ask you specifics about your riding level, weight, etc. And they will pretty much setup your suspension based on what you told them. While I have not used them myself yet, I do know a few who have. And they love the results.

kml, I was saying changing a few psi won't make a huge difference in tire life with the SAME brand&model tire. You're comparing different brands of tires. Not the same as changing pressures.

Motor knock from oil starvation usually results in crank/rod bearing damage. So keep that in mind. The oil light should have come on before major damage happened. So, besides a top end, you will need to do something with the bottom end too. I would completely tear it down before you order...

I doubt you would notice a change in tire life. Personally, I take traction over tire life. Tires are cheaper than bodywork.
