Bike is Dyno tuned already. This change is not for top speed, it is for lower RPM's at a higher speed over a period of time.

I re-used the O-ring on the fuel pump assy, the 2nd time I removed it. The first time I replaced it. The Oring was only $16 back then :). I lubed it up with some Belray waterproof grease last time, and it hasn't leaked a drop in 30K or so miles.

I want to gear up my Gen2 to gain about 10 MPH in 6th gear at about 7350 RPM. It seems this can be accomplished with going up 1 tooth in the front, or going down 3 teeth in the rear. Which method is the better choice? Are there advantages/disadvantages to either?

Yup - never had a problem using that method. Well, other than my clock resetting due to voltage spikes. But that's not an issue, as I use the GPS clock.
I just use and oil wrench and tighten till I know it's right :laugh:
