2016 Hayabusa lights not working after replacing ignition

The new ignition gives power and starts the bike just fine. I just don’t have turn signals, headlights, or tail lights now. What’s weird is on eBay the OEM ignitions are sold as compatible 2008-2020. Im just going to try another one and go from there

2016 Hayabusa lights not working after replacing ignition

It has the same number of pins, and all the wires are the same color. Was hoping I can switch something around. they aren’t the cheapest part in the world but oh well.

2016 Hayabusa lights not working after replacing ignition

I’m trying to replace the ignition on my 16’ busa with one I bought from a 2008. I got it on but none of my lights work now. Is there some kind of change I need to make or do I need a new ignition closer to my year? When I put the old ignition back on the lights immediately started working...

    Bogging issue keeps returning

The tank looks clean on the inside and rust free but there could be trash in there that I’m just not seeing. Either that or a bad batch of gas/water in the tank. I’m going to dump all the fuel tomorrow and try a fresh tank.

    Bogging issue keeps returning

2016 Hayabusa, 28k miles, everything stock except a voodoo sidewinder and extended swing arm. Still using stock ecu and all. The bike started bogging down whenever I went full throttle but during regular riding was running ok. Then after a few weeks of that, it started bogging down at all rpm...

Throttle kills bike and sometimes doesn’t startup

Thanks guys, definitely pointed me in the right direction. Tried my buddy’s stator and the bike immediately started and i was finally able to ride it with no problems. However after putting my old stator back on we noticed that the wires going into the ckp sensor clip had a lot of play. We took...

Throttle kills bike and sometimes doesn’t startup

2016 busa with 20k miles. Noticed horn sounded weak one night while riding . After parking the bike for an hour I wasn’t able to start it as the battery was dead. Got a push start and rode it home 10 miles away without a problem. Next morning the bike wouldn’t start again. Charged the battery...

Tapping sound after new clutches and new gaskets?

Yup that’s exactly the sound, only problem is my clutch screws aren’t damaged in any way. I checked them twice and they were tight every time, perhaps something is misaligned?

Tapping sound after new clutches and new gaskets?

Whatever the noise is, is making my push rod vibrate like crazy. Noticed my front sprocket cover broke from the bottom mount screw , so I decided to check under there. It’s gotten louder the more I crank the bike. Starting to think I somehow damaged the engine.

Tapping sound after new clutches and new gaskets?

2016 Busa 16k mi. Changed out my clutches and also the gaskets for my starter clutch. Also added new spark plugs and air filter. Rode the bike for 10 mins and everything was working great. Came back to ride again 30 mins later and there’s a tapping sound from the clutch side. It increases with...

Gen 1 headers on a gen 2 worth it?

Looking to spend as little as possible however I’m willing to spend if it’s worth it. Not looking to do any mods to the engine as I’m trying to keep the bike a daily rider. If gen 1 headers give a little more power then I can find one for next to nothing and swap it. Otherwise I’ve been looking...

Gen 1 headers on a gen 2 worth it?

Ready to upgrade my headers on my gen 2. I have stock headers with akroprovic slip ons. I’m looking to get more power. From what I’m reading the gen 1’s don’t have a catylic converter. Does that automatically mean more power if I put them on my gen 2 busa? What about the o2 sensor in the Gen2...

Anyone know the brand of this swing arm or how I go about fixing this?

Your right, I’d hate for it to fail again. If I was going faster that could of been much worse. Might just be time to replace this arm instead of repairing an already bad design.

Anyone know the brand of this swing arm or how I go about fixing this?

I always had a suspicion it might of been welded, looks way too similar to the stock gen 1 arms! An upgrade is definitely on the list but not convenient for me at the moment. Really hoping to be able to fix this, but if I can’t I may have no choice.

That’s pretty insane haha. I’ve actually mastered that same trick with this swing arm I got now. I’d never stretch it that long haha
