Very sad news - Malcolm's journey of a lifetime ends

Dear brother .OrG members, this is not the way this story was supposed to end. Malcolm died on Monday in a collision with a truck. He had completed over 55,000 miles on his Honda 250 Rebel traversing most of the ‘America’s’ from Santiago Chile, to Terra del Fuego, all the way through...

    Help a fellow .Orgster out!!!

:moon: $1,021 for 12 months - almost twice what I pay with State Farm. Happy to help bump up the quote quota but honestly I'm not too surprised by the outcome. Wonder why Geico is so non-competitive ????

The Journey of a lifetime and a request to the .org

Well .oRg-sters, Malcolm has made it to the top of Alaska, here is his story in his own words: "After buying my Honda 250cc Rebel motorbike in Santiago, I travelled to the southern tip of mainland Chile, beyond Punta Arenas, to start meandering north, and 18 months later I arrived at Prudhoe...

    Watch Out! Scam Buyer!!!!

I got a bunch of these when I was selling a bicycle on Craigslist, same M.O., they'll send me a check and have someone else pick up the bike. My response was always polite but: 'I accept cash on delivery; no checks.' That always ended the discussion. As funny as it seems, when I bought my used...

    Front Stand???

The Pitbull will work fine as long as your front end is stock - e.g., not lowered. The fit is a bit on the tight side so you have to be carful when inserting the pin so you don't scratch the fender but overall it's not bad. Mine works great, go for it! -Jim

    Where to get longer bolts?

Greetings .oRg-sters... I am mounting new mirrors in an attempt to get a looksee behind me. With the stockers all I can see is the lane on either side of me - I can't see past my shoulders. Unfortunately the mounting bolts are too short to mount through my extenders and my local shops don't...

    Who makes the quietest exhaust?

My baby is stock performance-wise. Yeah I've replaced brakes and lines and hung the Muzzy fan and the TRE, but otherwise I haven't made any performance mods, yet... I like the look of the single carbon can, e.g., Yosh's TRS, but I don't like loud pipes. I'm simply not into the noise. ??? I can...

A brief update, Malcolm is currently in Flagstaff AZ - snowed in! I believe once the streets clear his plan is to head down to Sedona, then over to Prescott and from there over to Joshua Tree National Park. From there he's bound for San Diego and then all points north. For those of you...
