I joined the blue light club...

If you have a bit of gray hair (or, like me - disappearing hair) I really recommend removing the helmet to let the LEO know you're not a kid. Reverse age discrimination...

    So, why did I crash?

There seems to be a strange chattering on decel...you can hear it and the bike sort of jumps up and down. Track? Tire? Wind/camera?

    engine update

+1. The only thing I'm aware of that might be superior is BG44K. Kind of hard to find, and it's about 3x the price of Seafoam.

Be careful out there...almost dumped the copper

LOL, man that sounds familiar. I played that game until my fingers bled, won a local tournament, but only took third place at the regionals held at the Univ. of Nebraska. What a dweeb I was (am). At almost 50, I still play computer games, too. Back on topic, glad your pucker...

Well, did you buy the Missile Command game? I loved that game...probably cost me some points on my GPA in college.

    2009 Yamaha V-Max

Just read my previous post on this topic, over a year ago. Since then, I've actually bought one of these (and a Gen 1 Max, too). Rode a BKing, before that. Here's a pretty good video of some Max drag racing that took place last summer. All bikes with stock motors, and the usual bolt on...

    B-King Down

Yep, not surprised. I just dropped mine (with no sliders), and the bill was $2,200. Progressive took care of it, but my insurance went up a bit for a year.

    B-King Down

Speaking from a bit of experience, here. (BKing was my last bike, and I rashed up one side...) I bet you're looking at well over $1k in OEM parts/labor to put it back together. I'd seriously consider letting your insurance company take care of it for you.

It's a balmy 43 degrees and I think I have to go ride

Rode off and on all weekend here in Dallas. Got a little cold Sunday morning about 2 a.m., though. Had to brush the frost off my seat for about a 20-mile ride home.

Arg, went down when leaving for work

If you have no luck fixing it, I think I have a pair of bar ends I can give you. (I no longer have my BK.) Drop me a PM if you need them.
