What are you all using for rain gear? I unfortunatly get caught in the rain often, living in florida, and the rain gear I have really sucks. It was a cheap set from bike week a few years ago and I think it simply was a nylon material that had a waterproof coating on it that has since worn off...
ever heard of the "little yellow box"? I hear it is the same thing... any ever tried one? I had a speedo healer on my last bike... wish I would have ripped it out before selling.
I remember a post awhile ago that someone had found a GSX1340R decal that matches the stock one... was it on ebay or somewhere else? I'd like to get some.
my dealership had a small socket intended to go inside the axel... I was able to get it off using just that little tool... cost about $25 Check at your local suzuki dealer
i was on an R6 for a couple years and then moved to the busa.... my girlfriend rides a GSXR600 and both 600's are way less comfortable than the busa.... i've been 8K miles thus far with a couple of long road trips and love it... I just need to find a better seat and I'll be set!
Ashamed to admit it, but I did it earlier.... that is me on the 08' orange/black. First time on a dyno, but the kid certainly had me beat. Notice he holds the "track" record for all of bike week, if you listen to the anouncer.... this is the second year straight he's done this. I agree that...
if i got another ticket, i would simply remove my bracket, take it to court, measure out 50' from the judge or a randomly selected volunteer, and have the officer write out 5 letters/numbers the same size as a plate... put the mock plate on my stand, turn out the lights and ask if the judge can...
I still have to get some pics of it installed on the bike, but it fit nicely around the axel just between the axel block and the swing arm. (aftermarket swingarm)
Here are som pics of the new tag mount I created... I bought the actual bracket off Ebay for $40, the LED bolts from local suzuki dealer for $20 and the other parts from Radio Shack... total cost around $80. Works well and best of all I didn't have to run wires all over the place... unfortunatly...
where in florida? my advice, go to court, plead "no contest" and just pay the court cost (which is what they will do)... then at least you don't have the points on your license and since you were 30mph or less under the speed limit, it won't be too much.
I saw a guy who did it to his 08' and it looked really bad... kinda looked like the back part of his pipes fell off... give it a whirl, but be prepared to buy some after market pipes/exhaust.
