    Conceal and Carry

I also have a SubCompact XD-40. Wonderful pistol! Goes bang every single time. I've carried concealed for 18 years. Never drawn it, and hope I never have to. I'm currently looking at a G-Code holster system to mount on the bike. It's a locking device that allows you to transfer the...

    Sidi Crossfire boots???

Hey all, I want the most solid, and protective boot that I can actually be comfortable in. I have the bright idea to try a pair of Sidi Crossfire or Crossfire 2's. I know, I know....it's an adventure or dirt boot. I've tried this subject in another forum, and all I got were...

    All Balls stem bearing job.

Did it by feel. I'll ride it a little, then check again. I used Power-Punch. Not sure if it's synthetic, but it's good stuff.

    All Balls stem bearing job.

My Busa just turned over 34k. I had noticed that when on a lift, the bars wanted to center themselves. A tech-savvy friend said that the condition is called "brinneling", and is caused by the balls sitting on the same portion of the races and causing indentations. Heavy bike + heavy rider...

    Fork Service How-To

Hey all, My new fork seals are in the shop! (of course I can't get them until Friday) I'm excited to open these things up and fix this damn leak. I had noticed some of the "gold" looking like it was worn away from the lower tubes. Has anyone else noticed this? I could post a pic if...

Would you be comfortable riding like this?

I ride with my 9yo daughter. She LOVES it! She also looks to me for an example of rational behavior. I would not disappoint her by failing to provide her with protective gear. I don't believe for a second that gloves, pants, jacket, and boots are going to dilute the experience for her. (I loved...

    Speed Bleeders....

My understanding is that the only difference between speed-bleeders and stock is the check valve that prevents air from entering the system while bleeding is accomplished. Once the bleeder is tight, it behaves exactly like the stock part, and no pressure is exerted against the check valve...

Gen 1 Busa on a Diet...

The SuperSprox I recieved was one ounce HEAVIER that the stock steel, and it was out of round. I really hope mine was the exeption. But..... The company was REALLY good to deal with, and I would purchase a one-piece sprocket from them any day.

Where do I get Centerstand in USA

Do it, man!!! Centerstand is the BEST thing I've done to this bike! I had to go to Ebay for mine. P.S. - Have fun with those springs

    Vacuum guages for data?

Ok. That makes sense. Regular vacuum guages may be a little too vague to learn anything from. I have a friend that may be able to get me some kind of air-flow meter. If I can get those to work, I'll update this thread.

    Who is this!

Looks like a faith-based system to me.

    Vacuum guages for data?

It seems to me that it can be very difficult to tell if some modifications have helped performance, or just made things different. Sometimes wishful thinking gets in the way. Sometimes the butt-dyno lies. Sometimes louder just seems more powerful. I was thinking that before I swapped in a...

Lets see your favorite Busa pics.

I really like this one! She's a great passenger (and not bad on her CRF-50!) , and she LOVES the photo-tag

    Riding Boots

I've got a pair of Dainese Axial Pro-In boots. I LOVE THEM!!! No break-in whatsoever. Incredibly comfortable. Sometimes when I'm too lazy to bring my work boots, I'll just wear them all day! And they are just jam-packed with a bunch of carbon fiber goodness. But, they did cost $500 :dontgetit:
