24 Volt start - THANKS ICEMANSID!!!

Nope. Sorry. I quit making them quite a while ago.

Restarting problem solved: Changed to 4 gauge wire (with pics)

It would be near impossible to implement so that the rider could hit all cylinders..

    building a drag bike

if your feeling gutsy about it.. It appears the busa ECU has same programming port as ZX-12 - ECU hacking I am not sure who would even do it anymore..

    building a drag bike

it is a physical limitation. parts of the circuit board have to be exposed to gain access to the read part of it.

If nothing else - have your ecu flashed for an air shifter. it is so much nicer vs the MPS kill boxes. The ECU flash will kill fuel & ignition whereas the MPS box is Fuel or ignition (and they are separate boxes).

    building a drag bike

Greg makes great hardware! boostbysmith for your auto shift and air shift harness. you will need to ecu flash but you should be in that game if your going to be serious about racing a busa. For air shifter, check out DME for their high mount (custom nut for motor bolt) and their shift lever...

Hayabusa Cam Timing on standard cams

Mine are timed close to 110/112 for big end power. going the other way will make lower end power if I remember correctly.

Soupy's adjustable lowering links ... HELP

Spend enough time reading the forums and all the busa FB pages and you will run across it. One of the many bad things about FB groups is history and ease of searching. Guys say that they have broke on them but soupys stands behind them.

    Home Made ABS?

Wow thats pretty cool. Very good read on an old thread as well. I do like the idea of having a secondary MC that would relieve pressure and re-apply pressure as needed. seems that it could be easy to configure and small enough to be hidden and not too bulky. the ABS on our late model mustangs...

Soupy's adjustable lowering links ... HELP

Keep an eye on those - they have a tendency to break.. yes even the higher dollar soupys will break.. never a good day when that happens.

    Busa Fairing conversion

agreed - much easier to go streetfigheter on day 1 vs trying to fit something that was never made to fit onto the busa.

If money was not a problem

Go back to school. Edit - for auto and motorcycle mechanics. I have done and accomplished quite a bit without but I want to learn more and be able to do it every day, not just as the hobby. A machinist would be pretty awesome to toss in there as well..

    Fuel filter mod

KJ - i would agree that ethanol can gum up float bowls, especially in something that sits for months on end... but ethanol is no bad and its not bad for your bike. People need to know the truth about ethanol... sorry i needed to get that out. hate to see E bashing..

06 Busa, fresh rebuild, turns over, fuel injectors not spraying...

confirmed. runs now. one thing to note - with full external pump and regulator, you might want to consider moving the fuel pump power from the factory harness to a separate switch or tie it to igniton. it primes and holds pressure for a few seconds and then starts to drop off. if you dont fire...

06 Busa, fresh rebuild, turns over, fuel injectors not spraying...

yeah. i think i found the issue - intake time was way off - reset and looking much beter now. well i think i may have found my issue - motor pulled. working on checking the cam timing but i beleive the intake is much too retard. set at TDC and the lobes are nowhere near where they should be on...
