Just wondering if your issue was ever solved?

I thought that at first but this stuff is covered in oil and its mainly towards the back of the airbox where the PCV tube comes up. I'm going to block off the tube with a filter and see if it gets better or worse. I'm worried it could be a valve cover gasket. Do you of any way to replace that...

Digging around cleaning the bike up checking vacuum lines to see why my 2001 would surge at constant throttle and found chunks in my airbox. My motor was rebuilt less than 2k miles ago and had the pair valve mod removed. I'll provide a few pics. What is this stuff and where is it coming from?

Just as the title says, my 01 busa is really jerky around 3.5-4.5 RPMs. At first I thought it could be a transmission. Then, well maybe its my clutch. I don't really have any clue what it could be. I've been told maybe its even the ECU but I'm not sure. I do know that I didn't have that problem...

Just looking to see what peoples opinion is on what could've went wrong when I paid my local shop $3500 to rebuild my motor on my 2001 Busa. As soon as it got out of the shop I knew something wasn't right. I called and they said its because its brand new and it just has to break in. Okay, no...

No luck... The sizes I have are as follows: 40mm x 6mm 20mm x 6mm 16mm x 6mm 16mm x 5mm I even looked through a different DZUS site with a bunch of companies that carry them and NOPE. Cant find what I need... :banghead:

Just as the title says. I'm looking to find these quick release type bolts but have no luck. Has anyone seen them there. I don't want to buy an R1 kit just to find out that it wont work on a Gen 1 Busa. Just seeing if anyone has any idea on where I can find something. Thanks!

I let the shop hook it all up since my bike was in getting the motor rebuilt and the cylinders honed. Ill have to call and see if they played with that. I know I had to buy a new TPS (175$) so they should have had it all adjusted but IDK. I'll definitely make a call to ask them about it.

I was reading on this. I think I might try the break down this weekend.

So I just had new rings put in, cylinders honed, block off plates put on, installed a PC5. All this was because I thought it was a good idea to blow my back tire and let someone else try it. Long story short I blew the motor and it took me 5 months and a boat load of cash to get it back up...
