    Bonneville

Hey Shane, This is a shot from Speedweek '06 prior to my first run on the long course. Due to a contestant exiting the wrong side of the course (first time on long course) I sat at the front of staging for 20+ minutes. During that time I was able to sit and take in the experience. Wes (the...

    APE  Cylinder Studs

Stock cylinder bolts are 183,000 p.s.i. tensile strength, APE studs are 118,000 p.s.i.. If you keep the stock bolts, torque them to 45 ft/lbs.

    F1 flashing

If the injectors see 100% duty cycle the FI light will activate. Also, if the IAP sensor sees boost it will often trigger the FI light. You didn't mention an air or electric shifter, some mfg's ignition interupt will also trigger the FI light. Good Luck.

    installing carrillo rods

I would install new bearings. The chances the Carrillo big end being the same as the OEM rod would be slim. Not to mention, what is alittle time and $40 for piece of mind. I would plastigauge the crank as well (like badassbusa said). The rod bearings are the same as the oil and water cooled...

    bad seal?

It is common for the turbo to leak into/out of the filter when the oil is slightly over full and/or the bike is on a rear stand. Remember that the turbo is gravity drain, the angle of the ground that you are parked on with the side stand can and will also be a factor.

    need answers...

I wish we could have had picked up some numbers on the dyno. The tires were shredding when we created boost over a couple pounds. We had a set up on it like the 300 rwhp street kits, I figured it was making about 270. It was so silly to drive on the street. It was like driving a big block pick...

How about a four wheeled turbo/nitrous Hayabusa? Wouldn't you think that you would have to be a few fries short of a Happy Meal to flog this creation?

N.E.- THANKS! We went with 12.5 a/f ratio, it does blacken the pipe, but has awesome driveablity charactaristics. I have yet to receive a fuel mileage report. I believe there is a small handful of ponies still untapped in the tuning and the housing mod we will do.

NE, We didn't have a chance to make a full pull after we dialed the injection in. This was due to a brain fart about replacing the 10amp fuel fuse with a 15. Regardless, the first six pulls were full pulls, the last five were 3/4 pulls at best. The highest readings during those pulls was 280...
