Clutch Issue - Just can't figure this out

Same height as the stock one I took out. I thought the clutch bolts were rubbing on the cover, but have since figured out that the teeth on the pressure plate are grinding when I pull in the clutch lever. The pressure plate does not mesh completely with the clutch basket. It's like the clutch...

Clutch Issue - Just can't figure this out

Update: So I just rebuilt the slave and bled the system. The clutch still does not disengage far enough to release when in gear? I'm lost. I took the clutch cover off and could see that the plate moves, but not far enough. When I put the new clutch in I couldn't get the pressure plate to mesh...

Clutch Issue - Just can't figure this out

Had to take off the slave cylinder to get the pressure plate to mesh with the basket. Put it back on, started it and the pressure plate contacted the cover. Took it apart again, took off the slave again and pushed the piston back in. It came right back to the position it started at. This time I...

Clutch Issue - Just can't figure this out

Thanks for the suggestion. The more I thought about it that's what I started thinking. Never had this issue before. I did buy the bike used a couple of years ago so who knows if the fluid was ever changed. I probably should have done it. I did lube the hell out of the chain though. It was...

Clutch Issue - Just can't figure this out

So a couple of weeks ago I was riding home from work and gave the bike (08 BKing) some throttle and the motor just revved and basically didn't have any additional acceleration. I figured the clutch must be shot so I ordered a Suzuki kit for an 08 - 12 hayabusa, which I figured must be the same...

    Riding Boots

Sidi for warm weather and Cortech for the colder times. The Cortech's were cheap, about $100. They have saved me from being impales by a foot peg though. Won't ride without wearing some type of boot.

    Which Arai for the Street?

I have Arai's, Shoei's, Scorpion, HJC's, Suomy's and a Bell star carbon. The Bell is noisy as hell. The Aria's move the most air. The HJC (RPHA & RPS) are decent but have a narrow head opening. The Suomy's are heavy and don't move a ton of air (very round shape). The Shoei X12 is by the...

    Clutch Advise

Are there any differences between a Hayabusa clutch and a B King clutch? I think they're the same but I want to make sure. For whatever reason, the Hayabusa clutches I'm looking at seem to cost less.

    Clutch Advise

Grabbed a handful of throttle on the way home today and the motor revved like crazy, no acceleration. I think my clutch on my B-King is toast. Any advise for a replacement? Stock, Barnett Kevlar? Stronger springs? Thanks in advance. Bill

    B-King or Hayabusa?

I had an 04LE and an 08 King. I felt cramped up on the Busa and sold it this fall. Since Suzuki isn't planning on improving the Busa anytime soon I bought a ZX14R. I still have the King and like it for the better riding position. Sixpack re-flashed my ecu and I put a set of Yosh TRC's on it...

Hayabusa stablemate- opinions on the TL1000R

Selling on craigslist for $5000 or offers. Would sell to someone here for $4500.00. It's low millage and well taken care of. I have (3) bikes so it gets ridden every couple of weeks or so. Bought it in 07 with 700 miles on the clock and now has 6700. Done some minor mods but I really prefer...

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse...my dog died.

That just plain sucks. We put down our "kid" 3 years ago after 17-1/2" years of having our buddy around. Might have been the toughest thing I had to do. Our new boy is a great dane/black lab mix that is not quite the same but a good companion none the less. They say all dogs go to heaven so...

    OEM Part Source

Since it looks like the Honda of Ohio parts connection is gone. Do we have another supplier who gives forum members a discount? Thanks, Bill

    Stock Mirror Replacement Options

Finally decided to go with the gixxer 1000 mirrors. Better rearward vision and I like the look.
