I agree with you guys that the plate holder is quite fugly, but its not for me. A friend (who isn't so hot on technology and/or it's operation) saw it and wanted it for himself. When I couldn't find it, I turned to the group of people who have always had an answer for any question I could think...
Does anyone know where this license plate holder can be purchased from. I have only seen them on bikes that are overseas. I don't even know what I would search for to find it. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Below is the YouTube link to the video with the Busa that has the plate holder...
Thank you for the link to the manual. So am I correct in saying that the switch is located on the top of the crankcase? Also, will it be mandatory to remove the cover as shown or is there external access? I apologize for what may be simple questions to some but I am far from being a mechanic...
I have a Gear Position Indicator from Track Day Electronics on my bike and it is reading improperly. It shows 6 when in neutral but otherwise operates perfectly. I contacted Track Day Electronics and was told that I need to clean the Gear Position Switch. I don't have a problem doing this but...
My gear indicator came in and it's better than advertised but I have one issue. All of the gear changes show accurately and immediately but neutral is showing as a 6. I contacted Darrin at Track Day Electronics and he suggested that I clean the contacts on the gear position switch. I have looked...
Thanks for all of the info SoCal!!! Just purchased mine. Darrin is great to work with and responds very quickly. I should get my indicator at about the same time that my gauges get back this week from bluegauges.com.
I'm thinking that the ATRE doesn't matter for my bike because I have the unrestricted model anyway so I wouldn't need the features that it offers. So, with the Track Day electronics kit I wouldn't even need to plug it in. I would just be using the gear indicator feature.
I'm glad I found this thread while searching for an indicator. I was leaning toward the GI Pro but I will definitely go with the more cost effective option. I do have one question. My bike is a 2000 with a 1363 kit and a 1st gen power commander (was on the bike when I bought it and bike runs...
I wanted to take the time to show off my new Busa. I had a stroke of luck and good timing on it. Its a 2000 and had 4500 miles on it when I bought it 3 weeks ago. It had been sitting in storage since 2004. The previous owner had all the chrome and polishing done, added 4 inches to the original...
