    Smart Money

Well, looks like someone is going to get a steal on my Busa, high bid is $6101.00. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....SE%3AIT

    Vista Cruise Control,

I tried the $2 Cat o-rings last year. Couldn't get 'em to keep the throttle open and steady. They would just slow down the roll off of the throttle. After several tries, I just put 'em in my pocket. I might go vista cruise later this year, but not sure. I don't think I'm going to throw the cash...

    Possible maybe. Timing is everything.

    Vista Cruise Control,

A throttle rocker is also nice. And they are only $10.

    Leathers?

"Cheapo" LEATHERS (as in a motorcycle specific set of full leathers) provide plenty of protection. Really, the only difference between a cheaper set of leathers and a more expensive set are fit and finish. The biggest cost difference is that the more expensive stuff is cut to fit you, not some...

    Deal's Gap - Busa Bash...!

It takes most people about 20 min. to run the 11 miles of Deal's Gap proper, one way. Many stop about half-way through on the dam, which is the only straight and where many cops park. Also, I heard last year that cops were walking up in plain clothes and talking to riders to get them to admit...

Beatin up a dead horse again INSURANCE

Companies are different - rate wise - in every state. one company is cheap, and another is high. Where I'm at, It is almost impossible to get liability limits above the state minimum of 25k/50k. Unlike cars where increased limits are cheap and encouraged, for some weird reason, they are insane...

    Who attended an MSF course?

Uh, some tips on some things that are changed - coaching positions etc. Wayne Steele is a great co-ordinator and everything he does is worth the time, even if its just pats on the back. But yeah, it was worth it. He wants us to stop doing a few things and gave some tips on almost every exercise...

    Who attended an MSF course?

Just did my rider-coach up date last weekend. From what I've been told only Hawaii and Idaho have not adopted the new BRC/ERC format. We(Kentucky) were the first state to start the BRC, and I was told last week that Cali just went to the BRC recently. Anyway, that's what I remember. I've been...

Lockhart Philliips SUPER POLE V-360 K/M PEGS

I like my L-P USA pegs. I've had 'em for quite a while, 2002 maybe? They match the color of the brackets perfectly and look "stock". I also like that they are solid and don't fold - like a peg on a track bike. They were one of the most significant improvements (if not the best) for comfort I...

    Leathers?

I like what ever fits and doesn't have a raised collar in the back(neck). For the money, on the cheaper side, I think Teknic are a good value. If ya got the cash, then I'd go either Barnicle Bills or Vanson. They are absolutely top quality product.
