1st LT. David Johnson laid down his life in Afghanistan yesterday. He was 24 years old and a good friend of mine. We shared many a laughs during our time in IBOLC class 09-10 together. You will be missed terribly.

It is now 24 months TIG, 42 months TIS to CPT. It used to be 18 months from 1LT to CPT up until just before I commissioned. The also just brought back the check boxes on OER's. Promotion to CPT will no longer be automatic nor will 1LT be automatic. Things are slowly changing to ways they were...

Didnt have to trade it in but its what she wanted and what I had to do to get it. Its ok, I'll get my new car in 2014... 50th anniversary Shelby GT 500 adn I'll get another bike sometime too.
