Damn that sux. I bought a Chevy cobalt for my son and now that he is out of state in school I got rid of it and bought a new mustang for my wife. I am glad we paid down on the cobalt early so we were not upside down.

I do it but the easy way with kits. The only stuff I make traditionally is mead.

I use 0-40W Shell Rotella T Synthetic from Walmart. 14k miles on the bike so far no issues at all. I did try a run with the amsoil but left me unimpressed for the price difference.

I have both in my garage now. 06 ZX-14 and 06 Busa. The 14 belongs to my friend I have to say the busa is more comfy and better handling. I love the brakes on the 14 though and it has good power, just takes to much input for high speed turns and flops around when turning around a traffic circle.

I went almost 5K w/o an oil change no issues here. Sorry to here he had issues.
