It's coming through were the wires are. It may be coming from around the grommet as well. I never had a problem before until I got this new stator. Looking at the old stator wiring harness and grommet. The grommet was much tighter around the wires. What will the carb clean

It is not a small leak either. I think it maybe leaking from around the rubber also. Yahmabond around it when i but it together for the 10th time.

Well after buying a new cover and installing it over and over about 10 times trying to figure out why it is still leaking it looks like the new stator i bought and replaced is the problem. the rubber grommet where the wires comes out is where the oil is coming out. I tried putting silicone on...

Yup you called it after further inspection looks like I am buying a new cover. :banghead:

Thanks for the tip on the silicone it peeled right off the the new gasket lol and the gasket has remained intact so I guess i will try again with yamabond. I just wiped it down to clean it. someone said try brake cleaner but i was weary of that.

I was talking about actual stator I replaced I am using the same stator cover

I recently replaced the stator and since then I have tried two gaskets with silicone and inspected the case also for cracks and it is STILL leaking. Any ideas?

I am working on a RC51 RVT1000 and I am trying to find a PDF manual can anyone help?

I checked the ones under the left dash panel they were all good

So I am riding today and I go to take off pretty hard and I happen to look down and the speedometer is just barely off 0 and twitching and none of the other gauges are working. I pull in the clutch turn the bike off, turn it on and pop the clutch and nothing I was only like 3miles from my house...
